Don't know if you guys have seen any yet, but being that I travel around quite a bit  :icon_smile_big: I've seen quite a bit of 06's as patrol cars.......a lot more than private owned ones. [not bashing!] Although I will say the number of sightings of SRT's & the new R/T's has gone up.

Anyway, I was just wondering if the 06' was patroling in your neck of the woods yet? As I travel around, I will post a few pics of the different Police Departments using our "red-headed stepchild". :D

I hope those of you who are a fan of police cruisers enjoy this thread.

Oh yea, just for you Bull.  :2thumbs:

Just an observation  ::)........

Its kind of funny and at the same time sad how DCX Missed the boat with most all of its hard-core supporters and Charger Fans, but they are the "Queen of the Prom" with the Law Enforcement guys. :scratchchin:  Check this link out......

Our sheriff office which has almost 100 cars and motorcycles got 2 this summer, it was in the newspaper. I have not seen them yet, the area is very big. They said it sounds great much better than the Fords but wounder if they can beat the crap out of them and not break down. If so they are getting a bunch of them. Hear that Ford is going to have a much better car coming out soon, we see about that.

There are tons of them on the road here in SoCal.

Cool. I haven't been out to the left coast in about a year. I see more and more of them on the road these days, but not as much as the 300, or the new Mustang.

I saw a state trooper in Washington with an '06 "Charger" a few weeks ago and I heard the OSP were going to get them but I haven't seen one here yet. I talked to a cop from Lake Oswego Friday night and he said they were hoping to get some but for now they're still plodding around with the Crown Vics. Maybe I'll get a test drive in the back seat one of these days. Will you guys bail me out if I do?

I'll send you some $$$$ for your "canteen" account so you can buy smokes for your new friends. :D

I might be getting one in the next few months. Waiting for the 07's to come in and for dealers to start doing their "all 06's must go to make room" special sales.

will do.

I'll probably get a 6 banger.

a) I really can't afford a hemi powered car
b)gas prices
c)the way I see it, if I want to feel 'power', that's what the other Charger is for.

  That's what the Charger looked like in Woodward Oklahoma that I saw but it had no markings at all on the side, and no chrome center caps either.  Just all black and all the windows were limo tinted black as well. You could not see through this car from the side at all!! The only marking on the patrol car was on the rear of the car to I.D. it as a patrol car at all.

   Can you say "GOT'CHA!!"

I took this pic at the Oregon State Fair a while ago and when I saw it I was hoping it was one of those bash-it-for-a-buck deals but instead of an 18-lb. sledge hammer all I saw nearby was a bunch of state troopers. The good news is I found a place to take a short nap next to it and I also found out how much the Oregon State cops get paid in case I opt for a career change. :shruggy:
