He is a hard core ham radio operator. Probably has several freqs. of radios in the little car. Some hard core ham nutz even have doppler radar setups in cars. Some clubs launch balloons with radios in them that rise up to 90000 feet or so before the burst. Then the radio box comes back to earth and these crazy guys will chase it for hundreds of miles to recover it.

Damn, that's for sure. :image_294343:

There's guys running around here with setups like that, although I think they have maybe 3 fewer antennas. :icon_smile_big:

The Aquamax...yes, this bike spent 2 nights underwater one weekend. (Not my doing), but it gained the name, and has since become pseudo-famous. :)

My dad is a Ham.  We've got a 100something foot tower east of the house, another antenna on the west side of the house, and a cage antenna behind the house.  Plus mobile units for their 2 vehicles.

We've also got a late 80s minivan that looks like a porcupine, it's got so many antennas on it.

I see those guys around all the time. They own or hang out at the radio shops we  get our CB radios fixed at.

I guess those Aux. fog lights are for offroad excursions... or signaling in morse,...
or the Paris to Dakar..

With the way gas prices are getting I wish I had an old Datsun in good shape like that to drive around!

Put a 440 in it, and it would be one helluva drag car....

if you put a 440 in that thing the trans would be in the rear seat... you'd have to sit in the trunk...  :icon_smile_big:
the entire front clip is 3 feet long...

TheGhost

Hmmm.....  I'm sure there's a way to make it work.

I ran across a guy with a pretty good looking Impala... His trunk was full of batteries, and he had the thing bristling like Sonic the Hedgehog... except the whole thing, with three alternators, was driven by a straight six...  :-\

Why more than likely harmless, you just know there are more than a few screws loose and missing from the owner's mainframe.

Man..Take the antennas off that B210 and it's identical to my first car! Same color and everything. I miss that little car. I could drive for two weeks on a tank of gas. I had some good times in that car. It had reclining seats that layed all the way back!  :icon_smile_big:
