Adding a TicTocTac - where does the firewall grommet go?

Adding a Tic Toc Tac - and got the repro harness

The harness runs through a grommet in the firewall. The new wiring comes with the grommet - do I have to cut a hole or does it run through an existing hole?

I have a factory AC car - looks like the grommet is the same size as one for the AC vacuum lines. Do I use this one?

Any pics would be great.
