As of last nite the cheap place on the north side of town was $1.39/reg. Most of the places on the north side are between $1.39 and $1.49. Here on the south side of town as of last nite prices are anywhere from $1.59-$1.65/reg.

$1.57 for regular last night.  Gas prices are finally getting back down to what they were when I first got the Charger 4 years ago.

A few days ago prices were everywhere from $1.35-$1.64/reg. I went out for a drive tonite (like I do every nite) and noticed that tonite the places that were the cheapest have went up on prices. One place actually going from $1.35(Wed.) to $1.57(Fri.) for reg. All of the other cheaper places have went up $.10 from $1.39 to $1.49, but on the other hand the more expensive places have come down today to $1.49/reg. I guess all of the higher priced places were loosing too much money to the cheaper independents and decided to buy 'em all off so they could get a happy medium.

We decided to go the cheaper route and just fillup our personal 1000 Gallon Gasoline Tank and 300 Gallon Diesel Tank (which will last a month or so) instead of paying an arm and a leg at the greedy gas pumps... so that being said here's what we paid per gallon via Dees Oil Inc (ethanol free):

I think the "cheap" ride has come to a end. As I write this, oil is up $7.00 a barrel from what it was last Monday at this time. Right now it is just under $50.00 a barrel again. Up $3.50 just this morning already. So, I'm guessing we'll see gas over $2.00 a gallon for regular again at the pumps in a few days.

I noticed our gas went up again last nite at several places. Most of the places that went up went from $1.49 to at least $1.57 some as much as $1.64. It was nice while it lasted.

It isn't like it helped me much. I filled up when it was 169 then when it was 149. I got a half a tank left and now at 155. Glad I only fill up once a month. I guess I better top off before it hits 2 bucks again.
