$4.49 for regular unleaded in Anchorage. Do most other states have a gas limit like they do here? The most I can get at one time is $75. If I need more, I have to swipe my card again. If I shop at the local off base grocery store and spend 100 bucks or more, I can save 10 cents a gallon at the stores pumps, but they jack their prices up so I don't bother. (Gas is $4.39 on the air force base.)

Yes, here we have to swipe twice if it goes over 75 bucks. Happen to me Saturday. On post here at Ft Detrick it is $3.83 right now.

It's not a limit on the pump - it's the credit card you use. We have stores here that post that on large signs because of all the complaints. One of my cards does it but the other doesn't so I use it to fill up the diesel.

Regular unleaded was 3.61 last night when I filled up.

   I've heard it's because of the liability limit for cc fraud. I guess stations have had alot of people gas up, then call their cc company and say they never gassed up at that station. Since there is no signature to prove it, the crook gets their money back and a tank full of gas.


   By the way, $3.39 today in Oklahoma City.

I was hesitant at first myself. But I run that in my Suburban and it works just fine.

After working on lots of cars it seems the cheap places dirty the injectors if used all the time. Everytime I used it half my cars pinged on the low octane stuff...even a cavalier I had. I also had a Lincoln and had to use the high grade from there to get it to run right. If I got the low octane at BP it ran fine. I had an intake leak and ran BP for 60K and the injectors looked like new. I live 2 blocks from BP and get it there. I tried others around here but end up going back there. Just my
