Wow. 87-89-92-and sometimes-94 here...110 is awesome. Sounds like rocket fuel compared to 92 Octane...

Yup, them sons-a-bitches finally pushed it over $4.00 here in NE Ohio...$4.09/reg and $5.09  :o for diesel in the town where I live and $3.999 here where I work. Ya know, it seriously is a fugging crime what's going on...what the hell can we do to stop them? I heard last night though, from a guy here at work, that someone (an analyst, also known as an "expert") said it should be going down to "just" a hundred bucks a barrel, or 3 bucks a gallon...wow, how cheap... :eek2:

Clearing up this misunderstanding.................Europe and US has differnt ways of "nameing" the fuel,
Here in Europe, it is the RON that is on the pump. 98 pump gas here, has a MON at app 88 octane, so with the US way of calculating pump "name= is : RON+MON /2
In this case our 98 would equal your 93. :2thumbs:
And Octane doesnt tell anything else about the fuel, than the knock- limit, compared to iso-octane!!
Since we only live once, and all this is not just a dressed rehearsal, but the real thing............ Well, enjoy it!!!!

TruckDriver

87 octane went from $3.95 to $4.19 overnite.  :rotz:

Life isn't Father Knows Best anymore, it's a kick in the face on a saturday night with a steel toed grip kodiak work boot and a trip to the hospital all bloodied and bashed.....for reconstructive surgery. But, what doesn't kill us, makes us stronger, right?
