There's a grocery store chain around here that gives you 20 cents a gallon off for every $50 you spend there plus I also had a coupon for $1 off per gallon for my new prescription.

The end result..............I paid 19.9 cents per gallon last Saturday.    :drive:

It looked like the pump was broken.  :P

It's not a midlife crisis, it's my second adolescence.

We were down to $2.18, then is bounced back up to $2.29 over night.  Now it is at $2.25  I doubt I will ever see it under $2.00 again unless I travel somewhere where it is cheaper.

**RANT ON**

Not sure if this has been addressed in this thread already (didn't read the whole thing):

Does anybody else see how INCREDIBLY STUPID getting hacked off because of a 9 cent increase in gas prices is?

I'll use my brother as an example;

He buys a $35,000 Toyota 4x4 that gets about 19 on the highway (will NEVER see dirt - and he certainly does not need 4WD).  He then bitches about gas hitting $3.00 last summer.

WTF??  If somebody is so GD sensitive about fuel costs they should buy an econobox getting 30+ hwy. If you can afford a $35k  4x4 low gas mileage TOY, then you can surely afford a 9 or 10 cent increase in gas.

I get about 10mpg in the Charger and have NO reason to bitch if gas goes up 'cuz it's MY CHOICE to drive it...

Now watch what you say or they'll be calling you a radical,
      a liberal, oh fanatical, criminal.
Won't you sign up your name, we'd like to feel you're
acceptable, respectable, oh presentable, a vegetable!

Bandit72

went from 2.19 to 2.29 between tuesday and wednesday.....
Daddy ran whiskey in a big black dodge
bought it at an auction at the masons lodge,
Johnson County Sherriff painted on the side,
just shot a coat of primer then he looked inside,
well him and my uncle tore that engine down,
I still remember that rumblin' sound.....

I drove from Atlanta to Norfolk and back for the holiday. Gas was the cheapest in South Carolina at $1.98.

Its been staying around $2.40 in Albany NY

5.9_Liter_Grand_Cherokee

I wish gas was 2.25 around here.  I am lucky to see 2.40 for the cheap stuff around here.  I have to run premium, but I chose the car I am driving, and I don't plan on getting rid of it.  I get the same gas milage as a friend gets in his Porche, and I can go just as fast.

Regular went from $2.15 to $2.25 in the past 5 days or so, but thats ok I guess I would rather pay $2.25 a galon than the $3.25 a galon it was in the summer.
