Does anyone know how much a concrete cutter makes a year? Had a friend tell me the other day he gets about 50-60K a year and he's like 19 or 20

Sounds right to me, but my friend who did that for almost 20 years has no back left. He had back surgery to fuse 3 discs & now works for Walmart for about 1/3 the pay.

Anyone ever heard of Flying Tigers? I worked for them until FedEx purchased them.

I remember them, they had a cool red & white logo on the back of all the trucks with the tiger face. My boss had a H.O. scale truck on his desk I tried to talk him out of for my train set.

Ever go to the Schlitz Inn near The Bruckner Expressway? Is it still there amongst all the rubble? What a Twilight Zone place that was when I found it.

Hmmm let's see, well I have a half a year no school soon, so I am saving jobs to do. Currently I work at the Dutch Mail delivering packages, on the side helping out at a local car wash. Than I am also looking into bartending and working at a shop for the sundays. Oh and I go to school. Some times.

I don't think I was on the site when this nugget was around. I'm an industrial electrician at a dual unit nuclear plant in New York for another 6 months, then I'll be pedaling my way to another dual unit site in the south to finish out my career. I was a mechanic for many years before I got in with the sparkies

Reading this ancient thread it makes me wonder where everyone ended up?

15 years ago when this thread started I managed construction projects. I since retired with the thought of maybe jumping back in someday..... but no way! Retirement is the life.
