I'll admit its different, but its really not as complicated as it sounds.

Its the same as any other type of engineering, only you cant see what you are working on!

Its also a really easy way to end a conversation...
Annoying person:  "So what do you do?"    :blahblah:
Me: "Oh, I work with viruses"   :D
Annoying person: "Reeaally"  slowly shuffles back and away...   :leaving:
