after some long hard thought and talking over things with my wife, i accepted a new sales postion at a dealer about 25 miles from my new home-used cars mostly, but new chrysler, dodge, jeep lincoln, mercury and ford-it was not an easy thing to do leaving my current store, aftre almost 6 years, but with the new mangement/owners the hand writing was on the wall as far as my job-they are looking for some one they can pay in the mid 30,000s,not upwards of 70.
so,my new boss has a 68 charger, and its a general!! of course once i saw that i drove the 72 there for him to check out,and i think it may have sealed the deal!! i have to tell my current boss on monday,so if you see him shhhhhhhhhhh

Thats kick ass, just don't tell him the general was a 69, yes I know they used 68 & 70's also.

They don't have to accept your resignation? What are they gonna do, MAKE you stay? Tell them to piss up a rope! You're obviously making the right move.
