There must be an awful lot of poorly informed people jumping into the hobby lately.
I have thought for along time that Goodmark would have been better off reproducing 2nd gen Charger sheetmetal before the Challenger stuff.  That always seemed a curious choice to me.

Sweet T

I saw this car on ebay last week being sold as a whole unit parts car.  Did it sell and the winner is parting it now or did the original seller decide to cancel the auction and part it out?  It looks like the whole car is on there right now in pieces.  I love how everthing is completely disected (every gauge sold separately and the center console broken down into as many pieces as possible).
No, it ain't a Hemi.....thank God!

AirborneSilva

Damn, I outta sale the fenders off of mine since I was going to replace them anyway!

Ghoste

Might as well, you have nothing to lose and it seems there is always one more desperate buyer out there.

Somebody here raised a flag on that seller. Used to go by anthonyscharger or something like that.

I can't say good or bad about him because I've never dealt with him, but I read what I read and thought you should know.

jaak

did you guys see the nos set for 6 grand last week

thats INSANE!  nothing justifies paying 6 grand for a pair of fenders, nothing.

Unless you make 6 grand a day!
There are some bloody rich folks out there that will pay anything to have a car as close to factory as possible without going back in time.

btw..if it's NOS, isn't it unstamped? And if it's unstamped, isn't it technically from no car model?

There was an unstamped full rear-quarter panel for sale at Carlisle a couple years ago..they wanted $2500 for it. I wonder what they'd want today

bull

That guy would make 30 times that amount in a year if he used them to make repop moulds.

I have a pair of NOS fenders for sale, 6k, factory rust holes in three places on each fender  :smilielol: :smilielol: :smilielol:

Rich people, with no active brain sells, please email me for more info  :icon_smile_big:

Dang. I feel great about paying $9,500 for my WHOLE CHARGER now.

And as far as I can see, both my fenders are solid. Maybe I should sell the car in pieces and make...

One MILLION dollars...

I'm hoping they start soon.  It's holding my project up.  Not that that is the only hold up.   ::)

I have wondered why Goodmark chose to repop Challenger fenders and stuff before a more plentiful market like the B Bodies cause there would be a lot more buyers cause there were more Bs produced. It would seem that it would be the most logical business strategy...make parts for the more common mopar if you can call any mopar common.

Then it would make more sense to do the 73 Charger fenders first being that was the biggest production year.Bull just thinks they should do 68's because he has one.

Oh, well if that's how we get to play it then I want 67 Charger fenders first.  I own one AND since they fit 66 Charger, 66 Coronet, and 67 Coronet, we beat everyone on the production number count too!  :icon_smile_big:

Wanna get repop Charger fenders?

1.  Take a rusty-ass set of Charger fenders and stamp some phony GM part numbers onto the under bracing.
2.  Mail them to Goodmark, with a note saying the producers of "Overhaulin" need a replacement set overnighted to a shop in Burbank.

No, my fenders are fine. It's all the other stuff I need that I think they should reproduce first. :icon_smile_big:
