Ok, I have a bag of miscelaneous sheet metal screws and bolts and stuff and I know the bolts that hold the voltage regulator and ground wire to the firewall have been replaced with incorrect generic hardware store ones.  Can anyone tell me what the bolt head marking is supposed to be for these bolts?  I have some with an anchor, some with a S, and a whole bunch of others.

thanks,

Brian

The fastener guide says that the body ground to firewall for 68 and 69 Dodge B-Bodys was
1/4" - 20 x .46" hex washer head screw with a lead point and paint cutter. Silver zinc finish.
It has a blank head with no marking.

The voltage regulator was held in place with 2
1/4" - 20 X .50" hex washer head bolts. Silver zinc finish
It has a blank head with no marking.

Brian, here are some pictures taken of 7/1 SPD STL plant Coronet 440 318 car with 43K miles and pretty much untouched.
First is ground strap bolt
second is VR and ground strap
Seeking information on '69 St. Louis plant VINs, SPDs and VONs. Buld sheets and tag pictures appreciated. Over 3,000 on file thanks to people like you.
