I Called Chassis Works today and asked about the Prostreet Ladder Bars, the person I spoke to said that the Prostreet type with the urethane bushings are not recommended for for use with more than 400 HP they just won't hold up to the stress, so anyone thinking of going with that suspension if you got over 400HP you better plan on the Competition rod ends, I didn't ask if that was at the wheels or not I'll call again and confirm it.

Any one else know if that's at the wheel HP spec?

These are the ones I was looking at, the person I spoke to said there not for recommended for over 400HP

I could believe that I am sure that is RWHP. I have a 4 link, they never mentioned any HP issues..... However maybe when the front is in the air some other areas maybe stressed.

Update, Everyone

I spoke to Mike in Tech at Chassisworks and he said that the limit for the urethane bushing rod ends in a Ladder Bar rear is about 600 HP for a street car with a manual transmission or a automatic with a trans brake, Mike said if your going to race the car more than ocassionally or have a lot more than 600 HP you should use the solid rod ends, he said as an example you may get 30,000 miles with the urethane bushings but if you race a lot or have a lot of HP you may get only 10,000, the urethane bushings will work fine for the street if you don't race a lot, the front urethane bushings are about $65 ea and the rears are $35 ea, he said that you can run just urethane bushings in the front for a quieter ride and a smoother hit, or run all urethane for less noise than just the front rod ends being urethane. Also he said if you run all urethane bushed rod ends you should use the urethane bushed panhard bar or diagonal link.

Now that I know this I'll just use the urethane bushings in the front rod ends and the soilds on the rear, because I don't plan on racing much, and my charger will probably not see 30,000 miles in 5 year period.

BTW,  Blown70 I forgot to ask if that HP rating was RWHP, I'll call again on that.

Also if you call Chassisworks the Sales and Tech dept. are the same people so if you press the number for Tech and you don't get anyone and it says you can leave a message for Sales it's all the Same Department!
