Does anyone know if there are any differences in the steering column between a 71 adn 74??  Thanks

No differences beside probably the bracket that attachs the column to the dash frame and brake pedal brackets assembly. 71-73 I think uses three bolts/nuts to attach under dash and 74 2 bolts/nuts underdash ( a least mine uses just 2 at column sides... dash frame "tunnel" ).

Anyway, that bracket is interchangeable.

In fact 70 is also the same as far I know.

I don't know if also it could be some difference at the end of the shaft. My assembly has an intermediate shaft between two couplers ( rubber one and the one that plugs on steering end ) and other assemblies have a long shaft up tu steering box coupler but if that's the case, you can interchange every part from one to another.

Piece of Cake.
