What would a set of 71 R/T doors with the glass and in primer ready for paint be worth ?.I would say they are in #2 condition

Are those the doors with the "gills" or "indents"? It's like 5 indents or something?... If you're looking to sell those please let me know...

They are definatly the gill type R/T doors and not the 73 Rally ones.Ok here is the story i ran across them at a local Garbage sale no they werent in the sale but i saw them in the garage and asked about them he said that he would sell them to me for 1000.00. well i dont need them but thought if i could make some money why not.He also has the louvered hood with insert and wants 1500.00 for that.

they are very rare indeed. but i don't believe that you would make money on them if YOU have to pay 1000 for them. same goes for the hood. that's ebay top dollar prices, not turn and flip for profit prices.. another thing to consider.. i wouldn't touch doors unless there was around 100-200 to be made PER door, as 99% of buyers out there will not be in your area, and though greyhound will take them, boxing/packing and shipping them is NO FUN. make sure you are willing to do all that for a few bucks before you buy heavy stuff

I would agree.  That is not a GREAT deal, but not horrible either.  Those doors are hard to find, but the market for them is pretty limited, not many folks need them, or can afford them.  If you could get it for 250-300 per door, I would grab them.  But at that price you would have to find just the right guy to make very much on them, or you would have to hold them for quite a while.  They are great trading bait, if you know anyone looking for a set.  The hood is in the same boat, in my opinion.  Just my thoughts!

Thank you all for the info.I dont intend to get rich just make a little for my time and efferts.I will go over there with cash this weekend and see if he will deal on the doors.Theres no way on the hood it would just be to hard to ship.

Yep,
Everyone who has posted is correct thus far.If you buy the doors for $1000.00 your chances are slim that you will make any money.I personally would not buy them to make money unless I got a REAL GOOD DEAL on them ! Unless you get them for $600.00 to $800 "leave em'be!"..................Just my  :Twocents:
Good Luck!
