This is my first time posting on this site and probably many more to follow. I just got back from MS picking up my 68 R/T. I bought it on ebay from a guy on this site. I didn't realize that until I saw a post with his name on it. It may be a lot of work for a newbie but I got the time and patience to do it right. I had a big smile on my face the whole way home seeing that grill in my rear view mirror.  ;D I don't have a good place to work on it right now but once I get that done I'll be posting on here a lot more often over the next many years. I'm giving myself 5 years to get it done. Once I get started I'll probably want to get that time down to 2 so I can drive it. Great site here, it's better than any book out there.

Here is a pic of me leaving CornDog's driveway, the first chapter in my Dodge Charger book.

Hey!  Welcome to the site!  Looks like you have a great starting point to go with...and the guys here are awesome when you run into a problem or whatnot...

I am one of the few girls here and last July I bought my first Charger...1970.  Frustrates me to no end at times, but when I see it smiling at me from the garage or get behind the wheel...I am all smiles.  One day...one day it will be killer!

It does need a lot of work but it will make the end result that much more enjoyable. Probably more frustrating in the process though. Nice guy to deal with but I don't think I'm going to put on 2800 miles in a weekend to go see him again.

You ARE gonna show us more pics, right? ;D

The Aquamax...yes, this bike spent 2 nights underwater one weekend. (Not my doing), but it gained the name, and has since become pseudo-famous. :)

Here are a few pictures of the problem areas. The low parts of the body panels have a few rust holes but not too bad. As soon as I replace the floor pans and trunk pans and get those few holes fixed, I'll be well on my way.

I'm pretty sure it was white. I'm planning on doing a black paint job with a black interior. The original interior was green but there isn't too much of it left. The dash is still in good shape so I might have to dye that.
