On a 72 using a 77 Voltage Regulator Connection: White wire condenser?

On voltage regulator conection there is a blue and green wire. I have a white wire coming out of the blue wire on the connector that has a condenser on it that bolts to the fire wall. I know this is off a 77 Charger but can I use it? Or should I cut it off?

yes you can use the connector i would cut the white wire off you don't need it on the 72.
