Ok so I got the adjuster replaced on the two siezed roller rockers. Gonna install them. How does one set the "lash"? Never done this before.

You've still got the hydraulic cam Vic ?

If so, the adjustment isn't technically a lash but a pre-load adjustment. You need to get the lifter on the base circle of the cam and take up any slack in the adjustment....that will be zero preload. Then you tighten down the adjuser another 3/4 of a turn which will push the pushrod down into the lifter .020. That's it...just lock the adjuster and you're done.

I use the 90* method to set the valvetrain up. I'll post a copy of it for reference...print it off and keep it.

Ok So i get the engine at tdc and tighten the #2 intake and #8 exh take the slack out then 3/4 of a turn and lock it in place.
Rotate 90 degs and #1 intake #4 exh take out the slack and then 3/4 of a turn to lock it in place?

Etc etc.?

Thanks
