I thought you had spent the last year making it a drifter...
and it's being crushed?!. I'm devestated..  :P
I was gonna say crushed but,..
:-\

Lightning

well, I spent the last year trying to get another street car so I could, then I took out the interior, and then money ran out...then I got the "job offer" from the race team up in MI, so this way I can get myself some kinda Charger (the '66-'74 ones) and go drifting in that instead. And maybe buy a second one for street use...or maybe get the race one liscensed...i dunno.

Look at the bright side, it'll probably end up as a Chinese tool in Harbor Freight. You can buy a 200 piece ratchet set for $9.95 next year, & everytime you use it it'll remind you of the LeBaron.   :D

That part was just an inside joke. The car ddin`t have a crate hemi or 4 speed/pistol grip.

Darn, only 50 bucks.  did you sell  it to a junkyard instead of a metal recycling place?  Last year I got $150+  for the stripped out hull of a 73 charger filled up with junk.

MassCharger73

$50.00...you got screwed. Scrap is way way up.

$50 is around what you'll get at most scrap yards for junk cars

no 50 bucks is what you get at most JUNK YARDS. Scrap yards pay you for the weight of the metal. and its usually at minimum 100 bucks if you have hardly anything left of the car, i've had shells bring in almost 300 bucks before, granted it had some extra steel inside it.

steel is up around 80-100 bucks a ton last time I checked. and MOST mopars weighed quite a bit more than a ton.

Lightning

yeah, I learned an important life lesson: dont deal with junkyards unless you have to.

Hey don't sweat it. You lost maybe $150.00, it's not like you sold a Hemi RR for $2500.00.
