Geez...Leave the kid alone, there isn't a requirement or test to be a member of this site. Come on guys ease up already. :icon_smile_big:

Ozzy is my god, the harder the better, Black Sabbath, BOC, Dio, Rainbow, Triumph, April Wine, .38 Special, all the hair bands, etc...  I'm a huge fan of old Helloween when Michael Kiske was lead(that mo fo could sing) If you haven't listened to old Helloween you should give it a try.  Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, Metallica, Megadeth, you get the idea... but.....

I listen to everything from Hank Williams Sr to Nelly,  Elvis(another one of my gods) to Elvis Costello, Billy Joel, Elton John,  Stray Cats, big band, it's all good to me.  The only thing I really don't care for is hard rap as in I guess gangster rap where there is no musical content whatsoever(even the beastie boys fit this category i'm sorry to say)
Oh yeah it goes without saying all the rock from the 60-70's era, that's a given.  George Strait and Dwight Yokum for country as well.
Never been a huge fan of the stones but they got some good stuff too.  And how can I forget, drum roll please ......Pink Floyd, the Doors, and CCR.  Classic stuff
That should cover most.

Geez I almost forgot one of my all time favs REO Speedwagon.  157 Riverside Avenue baby :punkrocka: :METAL: :METAL: :METAL: :METAL: :METAL: :METAL: :METAL:

'70s thru todays hard rock/hair band rock. Also I like country occasionally too.

If you guys like good variety of old and new hard rock including hair band stuff I bet most of you haven't heard in years, listen here on their steaming air play. I listen to this station all the time as it is a local station for me. http://www.1029thehog.com/

Pretty much everything - yes, rap included. Kinda sucks that a lot people miss out on a great deal of good music simply because theyre prejudiced against a certain genre.

Right now my favorite song is a Menudo cover by a Czech rock band...

I am not prejudiced against hard core rap...I used to listen to it with my ex who loved it, but I just do not prefer to anymore.  I listen to some rap, but not the gangstra type rap.  Does not do anything for me.

rap bad no talent

you dumb no brain

Why do you have a problem with the type of music people listen to? I don't care for punk, but you don't see me saying anything bad about their style. To each, his own.

Well the rap music might not be the best but the cars, gold and diamond jewelry, hot girls with tiny butts and big chests are. That why I think rap videos are the best, but yeah the music ??

Ive been on a NIN kick lately. I listen to a wide variety of stuff. About the only thing I cant stand is this newer country crap. I like the older stuff like Johnny Cash, Waylon, Jerry Reed etc. I listen to alot of progressive stuff to.

Orange_Crush

I don't like "manufactured" music, which is to say, I like to listen to musical genres in their purest forms before they get watered down for a mainstream audience.
I ain't got time for pain, the only pain I got time for is the pain i put on fools how don't know what time it is.

Polka.

Seriously though, Hard Rock, Classic Rock, Southern Rock (anyone sensing a pattern, here?) Country, hell, I'll listen to anything.  Have never heard a Pop song I ever got into, but I'll still listen to it occasionaly.  Never heard a Rap song that I liked, however.

I prefer bands like Skynyrd, AC/DC, Sabbath, G 'n R, and the like.
Never underestimate the power of stupid people in large groups.  Especially if they have access to the internet.

I've got about the most diverse taste in music that I know of. About the only types I really do not like are modern heavy metal (the depressing stuff) and any and all rap.(never will like it) Other than that, (and I'm being totally serious here) I like older country (Statler Bros., Waylon), bluegrass, western Swing, older heavy metal (60's/70's), Folk tunes (even though I'm a Republican), "classic" rock (like Boston and Foriegner), surf music, Gospel (Mormon Tab Choir rocks!), 50's do wop, 40's big band stuff, 1920's and 30's old standards, psycedelic stuff (old Floyd and the Dead), Even some 70s & 80's punk and techno (Ramones and Buggles) From Sinatra, Kingston Trio & Doris Day to Sweet, Loretta Lynn, Thin Lizzy and Jerry Reed, I dig it all. I've even been known to "jamb" on some classical now and then. I guess my ultimate favorite styles would be 60s/70s country and rock from the same era. I just love music in general....
