I´m missing a few pieces on my lower door hinges..
Think there´s some spring or something that will keep the doors open.. and maybe keep them from opening to far  ???

A pic would really help

Anyone..?

The center piece goes to the left piece.. and I guess there´s some strong spring that is missing..

But what about the right piece.. some pin with a roller..??

I´m restoring the hinges with new pins and bushings and it would be great if someone can post a pic.. maybe I can fabricate the missing parts..

Hey, I don't have a pic but you are missing a spring that goes inside, I just found a used hinge that was complete (check the guys here selling parts) and replaced the pin and bushing, works great. There are companies (year one might do it) that if you send them your hinges they will rebuild them for you (check ebay also)

either style will work (inner spring or S spring) as long as its from a charger I have both on mine. Not sure what year they changed but sometimes they use leftovers or whatever is laying around till stock ran out.

I never had seen the inner spring kind before this one. Did came original from factory on this way or is just an upgrade ?

Problem solved  ;D
Found a pic on this forum.. so I fabricated the missing parts. But looking att the last pics, the spring should be quite hard.

The inner spring type is factory, they usually break.

I have that same inner-spring hinge with a missing spring on my passenger side, never did really look into it, thought about just replacing all of the hinges with S-types... Funny thing is I found a spring in the car when cleaning it out, think I know where I put it... looks just like that spring. Hopefully problem is solved :)
