notifications of replies to threads

  have the notification box checked, but still not receiving email notifications when a thread has been replied to.  I take that back, the notifications are very sporadic at best.


oh... will there be a tech archive webpage when you finish with everything?

I am STILL having this problem.  Thinking it was an AOL problem I swapped the email to my gmail account and I still don't get the notifications.  Weird.

Perhaps it's because you guys are set up to receive notifications from waaaaaaaaaaaaay too many topics? Wakko, you're signed up for 660 threads and RD has 1,097 - try cleaning some out! However, I doubt that will help. It doesn't look like the emails are bouncing back to the site so they are either getting lost, filtered, or auto-deleted somewhere along the line. I know we had a problem with Comcast for the longest time and I finally just gave up on making all the emails work.

I cleaned 'em out but don't expect it to work either.  I would think that GMail would work fine, it's what I use for all of my board memberships now.
