I'm a Stained Glass and Kiln Formed glass artist. (I prefer craftsman but if I say I'm an artist I can charge more.)  Here is a pic of a kiln formed piece.  The uprights for the stand are a couple of leaves from a '73 Charger I scrapped out a few years ago.

Vainglory, Esq.

Clerk of Court for the Judicial District of Fairfield County, Connecticut.

I do mind-numbing clerical tasks and pray daily that the wards of the state I've been condemned to call my coworkers for the summer don't kill my ambition in this way station on my road to law school.  In three years, I will be a lawyer. ;D

As my grandfather used to say: "Twee boeren eisten dezelfde koe op. Terwijl de ene boer aan de horens trok en de andere aan de staart werd de koe gemolken door een advocaat."  I think our Dutch contingent can figure that one out.

no fun Vain:

Two farmers claimed the same cow.  While one farmer pulled at the head and the other farmer pulled at the tail, the cow was then milked by the lawyer

I graduated in May and left about a month afterwards.  I'm in Connecticut now, and come August I'll be at the University of Minnesota school of law.

That's a decent school.  Keep us posted and good luck -- you will find it totally different from undergrad and the Socratic method is way, way inefficient so it requires a whole bunch of reading.   But it can be fun nonetheless.  And in the back of your mind realize that one thing that really helps your career is a federal clerkship -- and you have to apply for those in your second year.  Maybe a circuit court externship to set it all up.  You will do great.  Kim
