It started raining @ about 1pm.  Darn!
I went home.  Did anybody here stay late?  Did the weather clear up?

Sweet T

I heard about you guys, I don't think they are going to let you guys in next year. I'm probably going back up on Sunday (today) for a few hours.  Too bad there was so much rain.  I had a good time though.  Ends up BIG SUGAR pulled in right behind me and was only about three or so cars over.  Other than that where was everyone else hiding?

:iagree:

It was a blast!

We met up at noon had a few beers and it all got pretty wild after that.

I got so drunk I crawled under the table, threw up all over myself and passed out.   :puke:

Troy was standing on the table, air fiddlin'   :violin:  once "The Devil Went Down to Georgia" came over the stereo system.  He then got caught by the Kinsmen Security   :police:  for trying to steal a couple of burgers and some fries.

All the while, Spike was sitting at the table talking to himself and throwing empty beer bottles over his shoulder (kinda like the bride throws her bouquet at the reception) into the crowd and yelling "bonzai" as he threw each one.   :punkrocka:

Dodge Don punched out a 62 year old obese French lady cause she looked at him the wrong way and when he asked her "what's your problem" she couldn't answer in English.   :nutkick:

Looking forward to next year!  Who's in?

Dodge Don

I must have been at another car show  :engel016:

That one sounds like a Chevy show  :yesnod:

Sorry we didn't get a chance to hook up Todd, I did go over to the Beer pvilion at noon but didn't really see a gathering and the only face I could put a handle on was Ron (Firefighter) and I didn't see him either.
Any how great turnout for a miserable Saturday in the Rain. A lot of very nice Mopars !!!
Did anyone Go to the Cruise afterwards ? they had another 360 Crate they were giving away to participants, Odd are, not many people,.... toooo wet !

Anyway Good time regardless of the weather .

Ron

I went to the beer tent at noon but didn't meet up with anyone, did go to the cruise Sat. night and watched them  lightup a new viper(pictures later). Troy came and found me Sat. night at my hotel and we had a few beers and then hooked up Sunday afternoon. Next year we should meet at a car and do the introductions and then get the beer.

ps Troy , nice to meet you and looking forward to seeing you again.

Sweet T

Yeah, I didn't realize we were meeting in the beer tent at noon.  If it was the tent they were serving beer and food in (not the one) by the grand stand than I was probably in there at the same time as everyone.  That would be funny.  I was going through my pictures, I took one of my Charger as soon as I got there and got Ron in the picture putting his sign infront of his car.  LOL.  73 I found your car on Sunday, I was a row and a half behind you.   I kept an eye out in that direction but never saw ya come back.  Next year I'm gonna meet someone from the site.
No, it ain't a Hemi.....thank God!

Troy

I stayed until 9 PM Saturday because the defroster in the Barracuda sucks in the rain - meaning it doesn't defog/defrost so much but the heat sure comes out good! I had some dinner and waited until the rain stopped before heading back to Kitchener where I managed to find greatwn73. It seems that one of the problems with meeting at the beer tent is that there are two beer tents. Sorry I didn't get to meet more people but I really enjoyed myself and I'll try to go again next year.

I'll post a few pics later on.

Troy
Sarcasm detector, that's a real good invention.

Well, we were there on Sunday and the rain held out...the sun even made a brief appearance throughout the day!
I almost didn't get any pics...left our camera at home with a dead battery!  So I bought a disposible camera at the show!!
Didn't get a chance to meet up with anyone from this site...maybe next year  :icon_smile_wink:
Here's my pics...

We know this guy...he had just bought this white 68 Charger from Calgary a few weeks ago and drove it back here to Ontario...he's kinda secretive about what he paid...but I found out  :icon_smile_wink:

My boys with the General...they knew it was a 68 clone

I found this pic of our Charger on the moparfest site...

We had a great time...(50/50 was $5200 for the winner on Sunday)...I can't believe that we have never been but guaranteed we'll be going every year now!!

Sweet T

Hey I made your pictures.  A few shots up from the 68 General.....and I thought no one saw me.
No, it ain't a Hemi.....thank God!
