I've always wanted to make shop stools out of half axles. i also think that a complete dash woul make a cool stereo and bar control center... Thought the steering wheel could control the volume, shifter could be a water and soda dispenser, ignition key could remotely unlock the booze cabinet, gauges could show temperature of fridge, radio station, dimmer could control room lights...you get the point...let your imagination run wild.
Life is a highway...

ever see that MONSTER HOUSE TV Show where they made a home remodel for the ricer couple?...
that had some pretty cool stuff, like a fold down dining room table made from a carbon fiber Civic hood...  :rotz:
I guess it only sat two,.. shoulda' been from a Charger that would seat six..  :icon_smile_big:

BBQ grill made from the front of a Charger ( in the works )  Shop couch made out of the tail end of a car. The 57 Chevys look real good like that. I had a wall light made out of a 71 Fury grill all 4 lights turned on ( 4 high or 2 low ) someone offered me good money so I dont have it any more. Darn it.
Take a round table ( wooden ) and screw a Hub assy. to the top then ( usein lug nuts ) take a smaller round peice of wood and bolt to the top of that. When done right you will have a turn table for Nappkins, Salt and Pepper,,, you get the idea.  Same thing with a tranny housing, leave the tail splines inplace and fit a peice of wood on it. Set it beside the couch and you have a cool side table. Pistons for ashtrays, distrbutor cap for a pen holder, Oh wait I'll stop I get enough Sh!& for being a redneck  :icon_smile_big:

Ghoste

I had an apartment once where I used lawnmower pistons for door handles and a camshaft for a towel rack.  Of course, I have plenty of broken driveline pieces laying around for paperweights and doorstops.

Old Moparz

I always wanted a set of dining room chairs made from bucket seats. It used to be a cheap idea, but now you can get furniture for a lot less than nice seats.

I've seen those too...big long 6 cylinder diesel cranks.

The Aquamax...yes, this bike spent 2 nights underwater one weekend. (Not my doing), but it gained the name, and has since become pseudo-famous. :)

I like the coffee table made out of an engine. My wife would kill me if I tried to bring anything like that into the house. She won't even enter the garage bacause she says it's "nasty" in there. Guess where I go when I want some alone time? :icon_smile_big:

I want to get a cam shaft from a "real" hemi (426), chrome it, stand it on end, make a base for it, place a lamp shade on it and that = a nice table lamp.
