tranny shift kit

Definitelly I ended to decide rebuilt the tranny, including torque converter. Tranny was out of pressure so techs told me is better to make a complete job. This will kill my funds, but...


Ok, my question is: I found a tranny shift kit Original Mopar part. Box was opened and Iwanted to ask if it could be complete or incomplete. Kit consist in just 4 springs plastic bags ( they are sealed ) with a small cup on it and 4 different sizes springs, a plate to make a hole on valve body, instructions and a sheet to take mesurements and calibrate several stuff.

Does somebody know if this kit is complete or is something missed ?

On instruction it says is a kit to reduce 400% band and clutch overlap, prevents high clutch failure and eliminates excessive passing gear.

Is a good stuff to add ?

doesn't appears any part number, just SK-TF(4) shif kit

The SK-TF is a TransGo shift kit, it's a lower cost kit intended for rebuilders. It's not as good as their full reprogramming kit bit it's better than nothing.

Ok, but I'm rebuilding the tranny on stock form I think... so you say is good anyway if I'm on "stock" form with the rest of standart rebuilding job ? I'm not righ now searching performance, but since this kit fall FOR FREE on my hands then...

is the kit complete with just those springs and small "cup" ?
Is this kit for 4 trannies or ALL the bags with same 4 springs and caps for just 1 tranny ?

All of the springs supplied with the kit are for one transmission, if there is no instruction sheet you won't know where to install them so the kit is pretty much useless without instructions.

yes, there is instruction sheet, but they show just one spring at a time, and are only show 3 springs location ( one of them changes depend of diameter needed ). As I understand, they just make reference to 3 springs locations.
