Went to the monthly Guptills arena show tonight in Latham NY. Remembered to bring the camera so I thought Id post a few pics of some cars that were there. Im guessing by the end of the night there were about 1500 cars which is the norm for a good night. I left kind of early in the night and they were still coming in as I was leaving.

Thanks!   :icon_smile_cool:

Figures ...   I heard about it Sat. night and considered going up - weather depending.      Was calling for T-storms and hail yesterday and it was looking very bad down here when I got off work  -  then it cleared up later on... too late to go   :P     Maybe next month  -  which should be the 14th.

Heh...that brings back memories.  I remember going skating at Guptill's when I was 14 (ninth grade at Shaker High) and living in Loudonville.  One of my more vivid memories is skaiting in a haze of vanilla-flavored fog and they were playing Michael Jackson's "Billie Jean" video on the giant screen.

:haha: I remember those days. My parents pulled me out of Shenendehowa and thought that sticking me in St Ambrose would do me some good ???  So all that time you were that kid out there on the floor imitating Michael Jackson.

Naw...at that time, I was the little wannabe breakdancer (remember "Breakin" and "Breakin II, The Electric Boogaloo?").  I went to Shaker for a year after spending 7th and 8th grade at CBA and 6th grade at St. Pius.

Guptill's has been around forever...my dad went skating there in the early fifties.

Its still going strong to. They put on the pre 1981 car show there every 2nd Monday night of the month between June and Sept. The crowd that it draws is amazing being that its on a Monday night. The record number of cars there was 1600 last July
