I  believe the Demon carbs are how they say...the cream of the crop.   If I'm not mistaken those are Barry Grant endorsed carbs....or they used to be.....someone can chime in and correct me if I'm wrong.   As far as Holley is concerned.....well....never again   just  my opinion based on experiences.

I have a 750 speed demon carb on my 400 in my 68 Charger.  Right now I have a single plane M1 intake but plan on switching it out for the dual plane M1 that I have.  I am pretty happy with the carb.  Very easy to adjust and work with.  Barry Grant's tech line is very helpful and responsive.  My compression is around 10:1, maybe 10.5:1.  I am running an Isky cam.

I ordered the 750 mighty demon with performer rpm intake.Anyone running a mighty demon?

I am running a 750 Mighty Demon and the Performer RPM intake. I had my intake ports matched and smoothed all the way into the plenum. I also run a spilt cam in mine. It's a .560/.575 solid lift with 245/253 duration @.050. The heads are milled .050 and ported with good valve springs. You will like the combo a whole lot if everything goes together well.
If it ain't wide open; it ain't running.        Rule number one in motocross racing: Pin it; row the gear box; and wait until you hit something.     At work my motto is: If you need me, call someone else.
