Ron, congratulations as a new moderator, you'll do great!! I heard about it at Carlisle but I was'nt sure if it was official or not. It was a pleasure meeting you in person and thanks for all the help and valuable info you provide us.

Next year we have to have a meeting place @ Carlisle after the car show so that all of us can have some cold ones! I did'nt know where to find these beers you guys are talking about. Carlisle is pretty dry. I might have to bring some down from the north!

Thanks guys....this is a great site and i really enjoy myself here. Troy has done a lot of work to build the new board and we'd all be up the creek without his dedication and effort to the cause. I'm just glad to contribute and hopefully help to keep things running smoothly.

Bear with me while i learn the ropes. I was fortunate to have had the opportunity to learn on the 70 Charger Registry thanks to Chris G. I will of course be staying there as well in that capacity so i will be a little busier than usual, but it's all good.

Now you guys/gals all behave yourselves so i don't have to lock or delete any threads

....that is assuming i knew how to do those things.

I may only be a "junior member" and the only one here who may be thinking that having Firefighter as a moderator is a really bad idea.

Sure he can talk a good story but he has absolutely no appreciation for new technology.

That cause he knows what a "good high performace " motor is . Maybe he knows if he build a 6.1 motor it could have much more power. Remember how these new cars are now- super light wheels, no drag front brakes - why don't you go down to a drag strip one day and see some real "fast" cars. Then go back on the street and see how these new hemi's look. You need to drive a real 11 second car one day.

Geez Neil, i see now that we were standing right next to each other in the group photo ! How bad is that....lol ! We need to get some nametag thing going. I really was looking forward to meeting you as well....i kept asking everyone where you were and they said he was just here !

Good to hear things are busier for you....that means you're keeping your customers happy

Next year we'll organize something better....some sort of tailgate party would be ideal.

I am very fortunate to have Ron's help and have him as a good friend. We live about 4 hours apart but he is always there to help with the projects, Here Ron is in my shop to give me a cam to help de-tune the 440 in my 72 Cuda. His girlfriend at the time , boiled the tires off the car when he did a trial run.

Since we stuck the bigger cam back in for Project Road Runner.
