Finally got my wifes new 66 Barracuda home...
What plugs should we stick in?  It's got autolite 5224 platinums in there and they're a bit fouled  ???
I prefer Champion.

Life isn't Father Knows Best anymore, it's a kick in the face on a saturday night with a steel toed grip kodiak work boot and a trip to the hospital all bloodied and bashed.....for reconstructive surgery. But, what doesn't kill us, makes us stronger, right?

I like NGK plugs with the e-heads. I'm not sure on the part # Paul but a "6" series plug is the right heat range for that application. Sounds like the previous owner was running too cool of a plug.

I always ran champions in my mopars over the years but never really had a little bit of a setup like i'm chnging to right now.l

Mike, the NGK  XR5 is an excellent plug for the street with iron heads. I've recommended them to a few members and the feedback has been very positive. I ran them in my own iron headed motor in the past.  :yesnod:

You're gonna luv the msd stuff  ;)

thanks, I'll pick up a set of the NGk XR5's.  I hope they have them at the local advance auto or VIP.  carquest did not have them when I was checking around some time ago.
