I just installed a new power steering gearbox from the Paddock in my 69 charger.  All was well until I went to reconnect the Pitman arm - and the Pitman arm shaft on the new gearbox is larger than the old one - everything else was identical.  I'm going to call Paddock tomorrow and ask what's up, but I'm wondering if there is another Pitman arm that will work (I just put a new Pitman arm on from PST about a month ago).

Patrick, there are 2 different style P/S boxes......the later model ones (72 and newer I believe) used a larger pitman arm shaft.  These will physically work in an older model car but the matching pitman arm will have to be used.

The larger/later model one is readially available (under $40)....the smaller/older model one is harder to find & more costly (over $100)
