:iagree: Might as well add rectangular marker lights and '70 taillights while you're at it. Or buy a '70...

I will go against the grain and say they would look pretty cool.  actually one of the only things I like about a 70 anyway.

my hats off to the designer of the 68 charger. its the most beautiful car ever made
the body lines, the curves the grill the round tail lights :icon_smile_tongue: i could

Sweet T

I'd do it just to get people complaining about how they don't belong.
No, it ain't a Hemi.....thank God!

Brilliant! Good motivation for drilling holes in your doors, dude.

Sweet T

Where can I get some scoops I think I'll paint them Panther Pink (correct for 70) an drill them onto my 69....pink and orange what a great combo.
No, it ain't a Hemi.....thank God!

I think that the '68 looks great just the way it is. I would rather have the door scallops than the 70 scoops.

Those door scoops don't look good on 70's, let alone a 68. :icon_smile_wink:

Sounds like a Foose idea. :icon_smile_big:

Actually, I've reconsidered. Silver, they would look perfect on YOUR car.  Just perfect, yessirree.

You might add some extra sets too - maybe on the hood and roof.  Wait, stick some on your head to complete the look!!

Yeam that's the ticket...

 Don't think it's a good idea unless your Kab with a '678970.  :icon_smile_big:

since its your car, do what ya want......i personally dont care for them on any year.....the scallops are a better look to me,

.....besides , would it really look that much different than a 70??

just keep this in mind ,......a charger not rotting in a field is something to praise , reguardless if it has incorrect parts on it.......

fix it how you want it

its your choice , but allthough easy to weld up if you change your mind at a later date . i would not drill holes in the door.  i would  rather find a good pair of 70 R/T  doors . but  in its self is is a problem , because of the  price & availability as we all know .

:iagree:

I have a set that I thought about adding to mine some time ago. I already added the 6 pack hood scoop, the Daytona wing, and fender scoops to my '68.

I was going for my favorite things from all different Mopars, but I decided against the door scoops. I do like the scallops better. The only other thing I was considering adding was a lower front spoiler but haven't decided on that yet either.

Perhaps one day I might decide to go back to all original but having fun with the custom for now...
