Life isn't Father Knows Best anymore, it's a kick in the face on a saturday night with a steel toed grip kodiak work boot and a trip to the hospital all bloodied and bashed.....for reconstructive surgery. But, what doesn't kill us, makes us stronger, right?

The 3-prong NSS needs the matching internal lever (roostercomb) in order to work correctly, if it is installed with the wrong roostercomb or if the roostercomb is damaged the BU lights will stay on continuously.

Is this a new installation? If so the roostercomb is probably wrong. If it was working OK and just started acting up, look for a broken plastic shoe on the roostercomb.
Pardon me but my karma just ran over your dogma.

John,
so it's probably internal then.  unplugged, i'm done with it.
thanks for the response.
