How close is the closest I should get to the radiator?
Is there a spacer available for stock steel fans or the stock clutch fan, that will help me get closer?

thanks,
HH

How far away is it now ? Is there a shroud on the car ? I like them at least 1.5in away from the rad.  :yesnod: Summit carries spacers if you need one.  ;D

My stock 7 blade fan had an alluminum spacer from the factory.  Probably is about at least 1.5-2" away from the rad.  My engine is a 383, 4 bbl with factory 4 speed, non - A/C.
