Well... Isis and I visited a specialist today and received some encouraging news... She does have cancer of the liver, but it is operable... It will set us back about 4 grand... but my baby is worth it... It just means that my quest for a 71 RR/GTX is on hold for a bit... such is life.. my pup appears to be feeling good and happy and that makes my family good and happy... She's not out of the woods but it's looking like she may be okay.  Thanks for the support guys.

Any updates, how is she doing, keep us posted. :2thumbs:.  Jeff.

Jeff thanks for inquiring about Isis... I haven't posted in a while but I am happy to report that Isis had her surgery on April 30th and they removed 90% of her cancer... since then she's been getting better everyday  ;D  She's pretty much back to herself @ 5years old which is amazing considering she's 10!

Here she is yesterday investigating my son's new car

Glad to see she is up running around  :2thumbs:, have to take her in for an ice cream, I need to load my three up & take them in also. Spend as much time as you can with them, for they are like family, loved & cherished.

Agreed! Just gave the dogs ice cream...Max is going in to be fixed tomorrow.

Back home and doing fine. The "girls", one his sister and our insane lab/boxer mix are babying him to death. He gets ice cream again today. Vet rescinded her first thought that my Gainesville street dogs are Huskies. She, after seeing Max, has realized they are Akita mixes. Doesn't matter at 62 lbs Max is a bulldozer. He has the strength of a dog twice his size. Now all are fixed and doing well.

Okay, Who has a pet Racoon or maybe a Skunk (stinker taken out)..of course.

Raised a raccoon when I was a kid. My mom got her from a milk man who hit the mom before it was light out. So raised by hand she used to do very cool things...like throw buttons at my brothers head from the rafters!

Would anyone know of proven home remedies to get rid of tapeworms?  My 5mo old American Bulldog has them.  I already took him to the vet and they gave him those little white pills, but he still has worms in his stool.  Does anyone also know what I can pour on them to kill them (besides gas or diesel).  I don't want them nasty things in my yard.  Thanks for any help or advice.

Fernando

P.S.  He was 6wks old in this photo.

You can add food-grade diatomaceous earth to his water, it'll kill all kinds of worms and bacteria, with the exception of the bacteria the stomach is supposed to have in it.  You can ingest it too.  You can use it as a flea killer and sprinkle it on your carpet and in the yard.  You can put it on garden plants to keep bugs away.  You can mix it with grain and keep bugs out of the grain.  Lots of great uses.

Google it!

Remember the average response time to a 911 call is over 4 minutes.

The average response time of a 357 magnum is 1400 FPS.

Bella says hi.
Life isn't Father Knows Best anymore, it's a kick in the face on a saturday night with a steel toed grip kodiak work boot and a trip to the hospital all bloodied and bashed.....for reconstructive surgery. But, what doesn't kill us, makes us stronger, right?
