It's when people widen their rear wheelwells (towards the inside) so that they can run a wider tire.

Ohhh yes, to me you cannot mistake them.  You should be albe to see the work done.

HUGE tubs are very easy. others you may have to look in the trunk to be sure or you will also notice the leaf springs are relocated.  Huge tubbed cars usually run something different for suspension.

IF you want a STOCK car then yes avoid them, if you do not care there is usually nothing wrong with them
