Just wondering if anyone else selling a car has gotten this type of email about wanting to purchase?

I am a U.K based businesswoman.I am willing to make payment for the
1971 RoadRunner. My payment arrangement are as follows:

1)You receive a check for $17,800

2)Cash it and deduct your amount

3)Have the rest sent to my personal assistant less the transfer charges

4)Once they receive the funds, shipping will be arranged from our end.

If you get my point then let me have your info for the check:

1)Name on check
2)Address
3)Contact Phone #
4)Last price on offer

Thanks,

that scam has been around for years.  the first i heard of it was when a nigerian started it (havent they started them all?).  anyways, i would contact the local police department (she has her address there) and have them investigate it for fraud.

Take a dump in a small box & mail it to that address so she gets "your point".

I got a couple of those last year when I was trying to sell a car in a local online freebie site...one that would be mainly viewed by people in northern Utah.
They were asking for info that didn't really pertain to what I was selling either...pretty messed up. :eyes:

The Aquamax...yes, this bike spent 2 nights underwater one weekend. (Not my doing), but it gained the name, and has since become pseudo-famous. :)

I won't be wronged, I wont be Insulted and I wont be laid a hand on. I don't do these things to others, and I require the same from them.

Also, think about how it'll save wear & tear on your plumbing, help the corrugated box industry, promote the services of the shipping industry, reduce the output of the local sewage treatment plant, reduce water usage & chemicals necesaary to treat sewage, & at the same time, it'll help the environment & keep the tree huggers off our backs for drving gas pigs.

I figured it was a scam and wasn't going to even reply. Just curious if others had gotten them also which it seems many have. The dump in a box is what they deserve. Thats funny!   :smilielol:
