Let's see if it works out the way you hope. Being skeptical, I doubt they are serious car folks separate from their business interests.

My concern is their motives. The site has no privacy standard. They will use your profile as they deem fit.

Be aware that their site is a marketing front for a commercial enterprise that sells auto insurance.

Not that there is anything wrong with that. Just be prepared to be solicited. And to have your profile sold to many other companies along the way.

The providers may have great intentions, in fact likely they have the very best intentions to further the hobby. Just go in with eyes wide open.
