Battery holdown

Can you use a universal holdown setup from the parts store to hold down the battery, using the original battery tray?  Think it's about time to loose the bungee cord....

you should be able to still buy the parts from a dealer.

I bought repro's from Year One and they don't match the one I have now!  There aren't even mounting holes on the body to accept the "original" battery tray...

Myk, are you sure they sent you the correct one?

This is the correct battery hold down for 68-70 mopars and many others.
The red aftermarket ones will work fine, but when they get any corrosion on
them they will break apart fast.

Yep everybody has them thats why I did not try naming them all........... just sounded
like he needed to make sure he got the correct one.
