So my friend that sells Poorboys outta the trunk of his Judge talks me into going to Mass yesterday for a hospital charity show.  That'll be the last time I ever take my car there... more on that later.   It was a nice ride in the countryside anyway... about the same distance as going to Lebanon Valley.

Meantime...  Not a lot of mopes there... turnout was supposedly down to threatening weather but all that happened was a few drops a couple times.   I didn't take too many pix anyway.

1. Imperial
2. Fury.
3. 26(?) Dodge.
4. Packard touring car in the "prestige class"

1.  68 Charger that I've seen at LVD before.  It's nice...   the 65 to 68 stock muscle car class was under a tent unlike all the rest.

2.  Scamp race car.    Sounded pretty mean.

3.  Custom pickup or picnic table... you decide.

4.  Ever seen a Kaiser before?   Now you have.

1.  "Stock 69 to 74 Muscle car class"  - note the poor turnout.   The puple Challenger got booted from the class because it was obviously modified with glass six pack hood,  Indy heads, etc.    The Chevelle should have been booted also.

2.   The Challenger that got booted... but they gave it some special award anyway  ???

3.   Class winner 68 Bee.  Deservedly so.

4.   Ramcharger hood 383.

1.   The Group W Bench..  aka: 69-74 Modified Muscle cars.    Who dared to be different?  :icon_smile_cool:

2.    me of course.

3.    Lisa -  Car Show Gestapo at her post.

Heres my dumb story...   I'm out and about looking... she's watching the car.   Along comes some family of hilljack drunks with their spawn.     Older kid decides he wants to look in my car but he's too phiggung lazy to hold himself up and has to lean on my car...   Lisa starts politely asking him to get off the car and he ignores her.   She gets up and gets him to get off but not before his oversise watchband scratches up the paint on my door.   She's pissed and the hilljacks just stand there and look at her and walk off.

So I get called... now I gotta find these jerks and get in the fathers face and he's just a ass making up exucses like he's only a kid.  I have to inform him of the rules of cars shows... 1.  Don't touch the car.  2. See rule 1.  and so on.
Basically this guy is a loser with no respect for others property and he has passed his genes on.    I had to walk away to keep my composure.   His old lady got in Lisas face too...  "he only put his elbows on the car!"   What a bunch of crap.

So later on we had the show organizers and security go talk to them.   I would have hoped they'd have booted them but nooooooo... the guy starts crying I gave him attitude  ::)    I was on the wrong side of the Ny/Ma border.

My friend hit up the area with some Poorboys scratch remover and most of it came out but I gotta let Speedo look at it.   Might buff out or might need some paint  :P

Then I got skunked on awards by red chebbies with chrome valve covers anyway.      OK... some were pretty clean but how many times can you look at a 350 Chevy with a 4 barrel carb?

4.    From Highland on Friday...  ever know a guy that shows up at all the car shows but never has his car?   That's this guy... but he came thru Friday with his clean 69 383 Bee.
