I had a great seat for an even better show than last week. Bauhaus wasn't bad, it was the first time I got to hear them for more than just one song. The singer, Peter Murphy did a good job covering a David Bowie tune, "Ziggy Stardust" & has a good voice. I didn't get there early enough to see Peaches & really don't give a s**t. I don't need to hear a stripper with no talent try to sing, so I didn't lose any sleep.

I wish the camera could catch the details of the lighting show, but this is the best I can get. The most annoying part of the show also turned out to be the funniest part as well. I had the pleasure of sitting (well, standing) next to an unbathed drunk. He also proved to me that Opossum Boy wasn't the dumbest person I had met, & that Beavis & Butthead may not be cartoon characters.  :D

I had a baseball cap on with the letters "NYPD" as in the New York City Police Dept., & he kept asking me if I was a cop. I had told him "no" several times, but he didn't believe me. Finally, he decided to use his legal knowledge & say "Look, if you're a cop, you have to tell me you're a cop, & can't lie to me. I have to know because I have pot in my pocket that I want to smoke, but if you're a cop I can't take  it out."   :smilielol:

Last NIN ones.

I took just over 200 pics, but about half didn't come out & a lot won't show you the lighting. If someone wants any larger pics, just send me a PM & ask. I shrunk these down to fit on here.

Bauhaus (as I said in another thread) is one of my favorite bands.  They broke up a while back and Peter Murphy had a brief solo career (he had a hit in the U.S. with "Cuts You Up), The rest of Bauhaus became Love and Rockets and THEY had a more commercially successful carreer (in the US) with the song "So Alive" and their cover of "Ball of Confusion."

Peter Murphy has an AWESOME voice...I really wish I could've seen them when they were in Charlotte.

Bauhaus, never heard of them . what kind of music they play.
I won't be wronged, I wont be Insulted and I wont be laid a hand on. I don't do these things to others, and I require the same from them.

Hey OM...thanks for the pix...brought back a lot of good memories (nice to see I spent some time as one of the "original goths" back in the eighties).

I'm in Newburgh, NY not CT, but it was about a 90 minute ride to Hartford. Ever go to the cruise at Marcus Dairy in Danbury? It's going down hill a bit, but maybe soon I'll try it again.
