That is Troy's old ride.  I had the chance to see it in his garage.  You can tell by the faded decklid edge.

Arrghhh !!!!

Oh well........... I don't even wanna know what the ebay vultures will pay for it....    I know what you mean Nacho.................

Oh well........... easy come, easy go.................   I know that car inside and out.......... All those NOS parts will not see the light of day on that car now....................

Just emailed him to wish him luck and state it didn't last long in Mike's garage...........  That's the second time for me............  The first was the '70 v-code I traded my '68 for..............

You don't expect to see them so soon again.........  Sort of makes me melancholy...   :'(

The seller is in Fishkill, NY which is just across the Hudson River from me in Newburgh. I wonder who that person is, & if they have other Mopars. I bet it can't be more than a 15 minute ride from here. Well, maybe 18 minutes if I catch the lights.

mwclassic is out of the St. Louis area, whereas the car's listed in New York and that's where Whitey went off to when sold... Looks like a consignment thing........ Poor girl......... lol

The main number they give is for Monroe, NY - but the second number they list is a Missouri area code (636), although I couldn't find a listing.  Could be a cell number.  I haven't seen or heard of MWClassic around here, and I have no clue where Monroe, NY is either - but it at least makes the connection to where your car ended up.

Monroe, NY is just south of Newburgh, so I'm right between both locations. Now I feel like a geography teacher. :D

I remember seeing your old car in e-town last year. It was owned by a guy in NY. Who knows why he's selling. Owning a survivor car is not that easy. Trying to not fix or clean something gets very frustrating, but that's the breaks when owning an original car I guess. I know it's tough to watch it get tossed around from person to person Troy, and perhaps it may end up getting restored by someone else. :rotz:

hemi68charger

Got a response from the "seller" of the car, the broker... Just told him that I'm the previous 2nd owner and to pass on my info to the next owner if they want it.......   As far as the future restoration of Whitey, I'm wondeirng if all the NOS parts I had as part of my transaction are going with it?
