Has anyone ever bought these quarter panel skins and had any success with fitting them? We are trying to match ours up today and nothing matches up. We called and the manager and didnt get to much help.

what doesn't match up? could you post some pics? I used a replacement skin on my 73 and it matched up very well. If they are handmade panels you may need to work them in. Most of the stamped parts I've encountered usually hit there marks fairly well but most need to be finessed a little. Post some pics if you can so we can se what is off.

Didnt think they had 71-72 skins   only 73 and 74   and those will not match up to a 71-72?!

complete panel won't match perfect but he is talking about lower panels that are the same shape.

The Ghoul

I keep hearing that the new re-pop lowers are too flat, they dont have the correct contore to them. Maby you are running into this issue?

Sorry for the delay in responding- The panels were way to short, by about 2 inches front to rear.  The body line that runs around the wheel well was off by 1/2 inch.  I ended up cutting them up because I had a body man here to help and did not want to waste the day and not get anything done. Used the metal for some other repairs needed on the car. The metal was very heavy gauge though.

Was going to order some other patch panels from them however I don't want to get burned again.  I may have enough left from one side that I can take some pictures this weekend and post.

Same thing here...I sent them back. The bodyman said he would spend more time getting them correct then to just start from scratch. Too bad they couldn't get them right....
