A convertible Challenger Hemi RT clone IS probably worth $100K, but that's not the point....the point is them misrepresenting it as an original Hemi car.

Ya, if it was real, $125k would be a good deal. Right? The real cars are into the millions now.

Actually, if it was a nice car, then it's probably worth 125k. I wouldn't take much less than that for my hemi chal convert clone. Until they actually sold the car as a legit hemi car, there's no fraud. I would think that if it went to court, the judge would ask the new owner why he didn't have the car appraised first. I agree, "Let the buyer beware".

I guess the buzz is that Challenger anything goes for about 1/3 the price of the Cuda conterpart. So, if a vert hemi Cuda clone is going for $300K then I figure a Chally vert Hemi clone to be around $100K. Maybe the starting price for any vert and hemi in B or E body is around $125K or so, I really don't know. I DO know that the guy who owns the Pink Hemi Cuda with white interior built himself a Vert Hemi Cuda clone to drive (since all his others cars are too valuable to drive) in Citronella with a 528 and he was offered $180K on the spot at Mopars in the Park Sacramento just last year. I still think the main craze is with the Cuda's...heck, a real '69 Hemi Charger can be had for $125K to $150K...
