Pic #1 is and always will be my most desired Brand Xer. The pic is from the early 80's, and I would take the car exactly how it looked.

Pic #2 isn't bad either and wouldn't be kicked out of the stable.

Now I need to go bathe with steel wool. Talking Chevy's and Ford's makes my skin itch. ;)

kooldodge

mine would be a 69 GTO JUDGE RAM AIR 4 IN ORANGE, very bad looking  :yesnod:

I have 3 that I'd have a tough choice choosing between.

1.  66 GTO, 389 tri power, perferably in that gorgeous maroon color they had.....
2.  70 Rebel Machine.  Nuff said.
3.  77 Trans Am.

One of these.... '70 GS Stage 1.

Definitely ,these 455 stage 1's were very quick and yet underestimated because they were a BUICK.They were  underrated at 360 HP and 510 LBS of torque. It was later found to be closer to 425 HP.In the MOPAR world ,some high values  are based upon  low production numbers, for example an AAR Cuda(2722 built), and less 70 BUICK GS 455 stage 1's (2465 built) ,even with the performance capabilty and low production numbers they are not even close to the value of an AAR.On another note, check out he F.A.S.T. class races,Greg G. has been doing pretty well with his 71 455 stage 1,not sure but I beleive he has won three years in a row.I have always been in for the love of the hobby, not the values,it doesn't matter to me what a certain car is worth,if I like it..I like it!!! I just happened to get lucky with my AAR when I bought it back in 02,just before the market took off, both the AAR and GS are awaiting  resto, but  after my Charger is finished I am actually going to do the Buick before the Cuda.So my favorite non-mopar musclecar would have to be the 70 GS 455 Stage 1,but tightly followed by the 87 GN.(owned that one since 92).

I am a Pontiac fan too so give me a 1969 GTO Judge to go with my '77 T/A.

It might not be from the right era but, I would love a 1989 20th Anniversary Turbo Trans Am in the garage....and why not a 30th Anniversary too.  :yesnod:

Well.......   This one is difficult to strictly answer for me.  Of my off brands, Boss 351, Boss 302, 69-72 Mach 1s, Camaro RS/SS 396, and 70 stingray vette are all good but I don't really consider one better than the other.  Each one have a specific use.  My friends pick Buick GS or GNXs as their other toys (other than Mopars).    I guess if I had to chose one over the other......   I would have to go with a Balwin Motion 69 Corvette Phase III GT (my vette is going to become a clone of one, since the orginals never get sold for less than a mid-six figure amount now and are rarely offered).  Believe it or not, some of the BM corvettes used 69 Charger gas caps (just picked up one last weekend for $20).........

Once again the discussion begs the definition of a muscle car.

If one accepts the separate categories of "sports Car" and "pony car", Vettes and Cobras are not, by definition muscle cars nor is the Mustang.

i would have to say,70 GS stage 1
kinda before the "era" but,a 62-63 421 SD factory lightweight catalina, would be a vicious ride.
stretch back well before the "era",a 57 300C ragtop 2X4 and a 4spd. sweet.
