I picked up a '73 Charger SE a few months back after a deal with a 69Coronet fell through. I started working on the Charger as it needs some decent hours put in. The exterior is fairly straight and after examining the car it has never been in any major collisions. It is originally an SE, Gold, Vinyl Top, 318 A/C, Power Brakes, All Tinted Glass and more that I can't think of. It has 2 fender tags, i'll try to post some numbers later.

Anyway, the story goes, I bought the car since I missed out on a 69 B body that I really wanted. I wasn't jumping for joy when I picked up the 73 since I'm more into the 2nd Gens over the 3rds. But it started to grow on me and I thought a 73SE is better than nothing. But the car was a decent deal and a I figure after fixing it up it would be fun to have. A few weeks ago I was able to get the 69Coronet I wanted initially. Since that car is running I just have to put some money into taking care of body. Right now, for a college student, 2 Mopars is just too much to attend to, especially when taking up 2 garages at my parents place, whoops.

Here is an assesment of the car in a nutshell

Fenders are good,
Front Quarters are good.
Rear Quarters are good, left one has some bumps on it.
Fuel tank is heavily dented (recom new)
Sending Unit (possibly shot, havent tested, but would replace)
Front Bumper is bent in the centerlink (replace or fix and rechrome) and Grilles are shot.
Needs New L + R 3/4 Floor Pans
Need to Weld in Rear Floor (already baught)
Need to install ignition, door and trunk locks (already baught)
Need to install Driveshaft (already baught)
Needs 1 new exhaust pipe
Needs New Valences
Needs Starter, AC compressor, and various mechanical comp underhood.
I have the int trim (gutted one side entirely) but I'd reco a replace
Dash has cracks
Cluster looks good (120mph style)
No Seats
Good Door Glass Both L + R
Rear Windshield good
Front Windshield Cracked
I can't really name much more off hand but ask me and i'll check it out

What would you recommend doing. I've pretty much accepted the fact that I have to part with it. What do you think would be a fair asking price? Would it be better to just part it out? Suggestions appreciated. Thanks Guys...

that car is rough! wowzers, glad you got the 69! :D  that car is just like my gold 73 se, but my sheetmetal is in a helluvalot better condition.  I would sell it as a parts car and not part it out.  The time you would have into it, well, you could put that time into your 69.  Find a mopar meet in the near future and try and sell it for cheap.  its a 318 car, and the condition that it is in, I would put 600-900 dollars on it and have someone take it away.
