Dang that's one Brave Rat chewing his arm off just to survive :sniff:

I hope you bashed him with a bat after you found him

Looks like all the cosmetics testing labs around SF will have an adequate supply of lab rats to test mascara on.....
Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms should be a convenience store NOT a government agency!

You are all so very sweet! I hope there are no aliens from other planets that are looking for a new planet to live on that come here then the same things may be said about all of us! I wonder what a giant glue trap for people would look like. And testing on humans would give everyone a chance to see how it feels for all of the animals.
Folks like this person have no one to help them or understand them so they have animals who accept them without judgement & in this person's eyes everyone around him does not want anything to do with helping so things just get worse.
I have nothing for pity & sympathy for this man & the rats & cats in this situation. It is a sad issue everywhere, but in reality animals are disposeable and not many folks really care at all, they just comment on it when the media puts it out there for all to see.

I wasnt about to have them destroy the interior that I just finished in the car in the garage. Tried the snap traps and had no luck, wasnt going to feed them a bunch of poison pellets and have them die in a corner 5 days later and stink to high heaven. i killed the rest of them as soon as I saw them in the traps.

Rats actually make pretty good pets, when they're born in captivity. They're not much different than a gerbil in the pet regard...they just like to pee a lot, so the upkeep on the cage is pretty frequent.
We had 3 for pets when our kids were younger, we even had the male fixed. The vet said that was a first for him!

However with as fast as rats can multiply, he probably didn't know what kind of trouble he was in at first. ;D

The Aquamax...yes, this bike spent 2 nights underwater one weekend. (Not my doing), but it gained the name, and has since become pseudo-famous. :)
