I neglected to say anything until now, mostly because I didn't know what to say.  I don't think I really knew Mike, But I am sure he has given me some advise at some point in time throughout the years.  I lost my sister a little over a year ago, it is crazy how someone is in perfect health and things can change in the matter of a day.

Looks like our prayers were answered!!!! Way to go MIKE!!!!!

See ya soon

I just saw these threads. I'm sad to hear about what he's gone through, but I'm glad he's on the mend.
Keep going Mike!

That's the best news I've heard in awhile.  Glad to hear it.  Mike rocks, it would be a shame for him to leave us so soon.

You just have to love this board, to care for someone you have never met as much as we do is a testament to why this board was kept alive.

Mike some day we will meet but in the mean time a big Italian hug goes your way :boogie: :boogie: :boogie:

Take care and a quick recovery to you!

I have been reading all of this news about him, too. I do not know him & am a newbie so I felt I should not say anything, but I am now speaking up to say how very happy I am to hear he is out of his coma! We all complain about this & that and piss & moan about each other but when you hear of what can happen in an instant, all of that seems to be so trivial compared to things like this. To all of you who care & support each other, especially when things like this do happen, I am humbled by you. I hope he continues to get better & that he will be back in the saddle again soon!

As some other have said, its hard to say anything in a situation like this, but now that hes back on the road to recovery its easier to talk.
I joined this forum (or should i say circle of friends, forum changes friends are the same) just about 4 years ago, because my best friend (a member here) died, and i joined on to tell you guys he had gone. that lead me to getting a charger and becoming a member here. so hearing that a member on here was venturing dangerously close to the edge of life made me worry and think about the bad things that have happend in life... but hearing that Mike has turned the corner and is coming back to us is truly the high point of my day!

Rock on Mike!

This has made my day. I know he has some recovery time ahead of him but I thank God that the worst is now behind him.

Great news! As I said in the other thread, comas though bad, do not always end badly. I am glad he further proved that point. Mike, if you read this (and I think you will at some point). If you ever need to talk to another guy who has been in that place, I am here for you. PM me anytime. I hope you don't remember much, and if you do, I hope it wasn't a bad experience.
