:o WOW! He sure has awsome skills! And a LOT of extra time. I just wonder what his build total will be when he is done.

says he will have under 15 grand in it, but ben working on it since 2003. thats a lot of hours of labor there! unfortunately he is useing a ford frame and driveline.now includeing a power stroke. ford front ends are a nightmare (i know i work on a fleet of ford pickups) and he started out with an f-150 so he had to switch over to HD stuff.. deffinately a long project there

That's pretty cool! I agree, the man's got some skills! :yesnod:

The Aquamax...yes, this bike spent 2 nights underwater one weekend. (Not my doing), but it gained the name, and has since become pseudo-famous. :)

I won't be wronged, I wont be Insulted and I wont be laid a hand on. I don't do these things to others, and I require the same from them.

That's some serious car building ability & dedication.  That thing looks factory!

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------

But to me, it does seem like a questionable use of so much effort.  For the amount of his life that went into that project & the skilled labor involved he probably could have gotten himself a REAL Hummer H1.  That project is still just a Phord truck underneath the skin.

I'd be curious to see what other projects that guy has built in the past.

Some People Really love projects. Not to mention a New Hummer H1 is around 100K  now maybe more. I bet he could have that wrapped up for less than 30K as the majority of cost is labor, and he put all of the labor in himself.

Most of us could go out and buy a restored Charger For a lot cheaper and less hassle than it will cost to restore the rusted hulk in the garage. But We love to do it. It gives us more pride knowing that we put our own effort into these vehicles.

My mechanic told me, "I couldn't fix your brakes, but don't worry I made your horn louder."

Wakko

You'd think he'd spring for new coil springs.   Phenomenal metalworking done there.
