Can anyone please help?  Does anyone know what the part numbers are for a power steering pumps for an early 1968 Dodge Charger R/T???  The pump that is on the car is not original to it and it is leaking like crazy.  If I am going to rebuild it I would like to rebuild the correct one.

Thanks for the help!

This is the correct FEDERAL type pump for a 383 440 big block 68 model.

:iagree:  There's more than one way to solve the problem too.

I had a '68 383 Charger with a leaky Federal-style pump several years back.  It was a heck-of-a-lot easier to re-use the old reservoir & pulley, and just buy a rebuilt pump from NAPA.  Cardone Industries rebuilds and sells them through NAPA.  Fairly simple procedure to change them out too.
